About NOX Supply
We started because the bag kept outliving the wheel.
A case with a seized spinner is not a broken case. It is a working case with an $18 part missing — and almost nobody will sell you the part. So it goes in a skip and a new one gets bought.
NOX makes bags, luggage and small leather goods on a narrow discipline: publish every dimension, over-build the handful of places carry actually fails, and stock the parts that wear so nothing gets thrown away over one of them.
The failure points are not a mystery. Strap, zip, base, and the stitching where a handle meets the body — that is where nearly every bag discarded in its first five years gave up. Almost none of them wore through the leather or the nylon. So the money goes into a zip a size heavier than the load needs, solid brass instead of plated, hidden base reinforcement, and bar-tacked handle roots.
The rest of the discipline is the product page. Full-grain leather is not uniform. Ballistic nylon is heavier than most brands admit. A 42-litre bag holds meaningfully less than a 45-litre one in a way you discover at a bag drop, not on a website. We would rather publish the empty weight and lose the sale to someone who wanted something lighter than take the order and then take the return.
Four rules we do not break
Every dimension is published
External dimensions including hardware, internal volume and empty weight, on every product page. If what arrives does not match, that is a fault and it comes back at our cost — not as a change-of-mind return.
Full-grain, never corrected
Corrected-grain leather is sanded flat and embossed with a fake grain to hide the scars. It looks perfect for a year and then peels. Ours shows the hide it came from, marks included, and darkens instead of failing.
Wear parts are sold, not bundled
Straps, wheels, feet, buckles, pen loops — all stocked, all fitted with a screwdriver or nothing at all. Over-building the failure points only matters if the fifth one is replaceable.
No subscription, ever
Every order is a one-time purchase. No auto-ship, no membership, no cancel-by-phone-only. Placing an order here does not enrol you in a recurring charge of any kind.
Where things are made
Leather goods are cut and stitched in small runs. The hard cases and the technical nylon are made to our specification by established luggage factories. We are not going to pretend a polycarbonate shell is hand-made, and we are not going to be coy about who makes what — ask and we will tell you which piece comes from where.
